A former analyst with the Federal Reserve and a management consultant, Corbin was highly involved in economic research and analysis during the financial crisis in 2008. Corbin later took a year-long sabbatical to pursue his true passion of documentary films relating to economic/social issues. He attended Documentary Film School at Maine Media College in Rockport, Maine and co-directed the short film, “Every Little Thing” about a mother raising a child with autism. The film was presented at the 2012 Sprout Film Festival in New York City which showcases films about people with developmental disabilities.
Corbin has spent the last year and a half volunteering and working on various film and photography projects in Port-au-Prince. He is currently in post-production on his first full-length documentary film about social justice issues in post-earthquake Haiti.
Corbin currently resides in Washington, D.C.
